CRB Designation Online Application - U.S and U.S Territories

Please carefully review the instructions below to finalize and submit your CRB designation application.

IMPORTANT NOTE:  Be sure you have successfully completed the four required CRB courses whether online, virtual or live classroom BEFORE continuing with this application.

Instructions

  • You will be asked to submit your one year of management experience as well as an affidavit acknowledgement.  Be sure ALL ARE COMPLETED below.
  • Please complete the affidavit acknowledgement below LAST.  Once you save this acknowledgement on this page, the REBI staff will be notified to review and process your application.  Incomplete applications will be delayed.
  • Please allow up to 10 business days for the staff to review after your affidavit acknowledgement is submitted.
  • When your application is approved, we will notify you via email to the email address on file ... be sure it is correct under the ABOUT ME tab above.
  • If your application is incomplete, we will notify you via email of any outstanding requirements.

STEP 1 - Review your contact information

Visit the ABOUT ME tab in your account and review ALL your information (address, email, phone, etc).  Be sure your NRDS (National REALTOR® Database System) ID is included in the "My details" section as well.

STEP 2 - Submit 1 year of Management Experience

Must have at least one (1) year of qualifying management experience prior to designation.  We provide a broad definition of management experience that extends beyond managing
an office.

You do not need a broker’s license to earn the CRB designation.
 
Important Notes:

  • Supervisor is defined as supervising one or more individuals in one of the capacities outlined when you make your selection(s) below.
  • Management functions are all WITHIN a real estate brokerage.

FINAL STEP - Affidavit & Acknowledgment

By agreeing below, I state that the information I am providing is true and accurate. I further understand that in order to retain the rights to use the CRB designation, I must maintain membership status as a CRB designee and with the National Association of REALTORS®. I also understand that use of the CRB designation without maintaining membership with the Real Estate Business Institute and NAR will be a violation of Article 12 of the Code of Ethics, and I will need to immediately cease using the CRB credential, emblem, and/or logo.
